April 7th 2011 is the halfway mark for the 8th generation of students in the minor Independent Fashion Magazines. On that day they will present their new magazine concepts. A jury of magazine professionals will decide two weeks later on the concept that will be the base of the 2011 AMFI magazine.

In the iTunesshop Odd for iPad

Last year’s magazine Odd did very well. It was presented on AMFI’s graduation event Fashion Transit 2010 and then sold in over 40 shops in New York and over 200 shops worldwide. Odd was in the ‘most favourite top 10’ at Australian retailer MagNation for more than 3 months.

The Odd productline sold well, the website attracted over 15.000 visitors (and counting…) and the Odd Facebook page has over 2000 fans. Did we mention the ipad version of Odd (with new content!) is available in the Itunes store now?

It will be a challenge for the new generation to equal the success of Odd. Then again, we say that every year and then the students surprise us every year and the fan base of the AMFI magazine keeps growing. As soon as we know the title of the 2011 magazine, we will let you know!
