This season, iNDiViDUALS launches its first ever line of signature styles: UNiTY.
UNiTY represents iNDiViDUALS’ identity using design principles that generate a common thread within the diversity of all seasonal collections. Furthermore, as this line is partly unisex, iNDiViDUALS introduces pieces that will be available for both men and women.
Generation 17 of iNDIVIDUALS created UNiTY with the purpose to connect the diverse collections produced each season. UNiTY forms a laboratory for young creatives to experiment with sustainability. The first exciting step made is using both organic fabrics and leftovers from stock material for the four-piece line.
Working with UNiTY is a new adventure for each department within the iNDiViDUALS programme. The designers developed specific design principles, that unambiguously reflected elements of the iNDiViDUALS identity. To become more sustainable, the managers placed focus on sourcing organic fabrics for all UNiTY styles. Lastly, the branders need to ensure that UNiTY is clearly communicated and entirely represented by the brand identity, as a new concept within iNDiViDUALS.
iNDiViDUALS aim is to make the brand recognisable through UNiTY pieces, in combination with evolving seasonal collections. UNiTY will be available in the by AMFI Statement Store January 2015.
