Fashion & Design
The AMFI Fashion Design graduate designs and translates sustainable, ethical and relevant fashion concepts/briefs into products/collections. They have research, digital, technical, creative, and commercial skills that focus on the process of design.
Graduates have knowledge and experience of the whole fashion ecosystem. They understand the purpose and role of a designer in relation to other areas of expertise, with whom they will collaborate. Graduates have an awareness of new socio-economic, cultural and technological developments and an open attitude towards continuous change. This enables the AMFI designer to operate with creativity, responsibility and ownership within the dynamic fashion context.
AMFI designers can translate their own personal ambitions into professional and ethical visions for industry and beyond. With broadly applicable competences in digital and analogue craftmanship, AMFI design graduates also develop expertise in areas such as construction, materials, making and form. Skilled in communicating vision, both visually and verbally, graduates easily integrate into professional environments.
